My husband had always been a "blade shaver" his whole life, using whatever kind of razors I bought for him. I was always looking for something better, because he has very sensitive skin on his face. If he shaved every day, he would break out from it. He could only shave every 3 days or so. I didn't care for this too much, as I don't like the prickly feeling when I kiss him.

I was out to look for an electric shaver. I wanted a cheap one, because I didn't know if this was going to be a good alternative for my husband. This was a trial and error thing. I went to Target and picked one that was in my price range. I did want one that is cordless, but doesn't need a base to charge. I didn't want something to take up counter space. This one just charges by a cord.

So the ultimate test was how my husband liked it. He does not get any irritation from it at all. He still doesn't shave as often as I'd like, but this is through no fault of the shaver. It's small, easy to charge, so it's easy to take with us when we travel. He gets a close shave with it. We do need to find a way to sort of track when it needs a charge though. There is no low battery indication. My husband only knows it's time to charge when it starts to slow down. Unfortunately, it takes almost a whole day (16+ hours) to charge it.
