Being an avid hiker but not having the proper equipment, I recently sent out on an adventure to find the prefect hiking rain jacket. I went to my local hiking store and the clerk suggested I get a North Face jacket. At first I was a bit skeptic due to the high price but the clerk assured me I wouldn't regret it. That weekend I ventured out into the woods for a hike and to my delight it began to rain. "Finally I get to use the jacket!" I exclaimed to myself, and I joyfully put it on. There I was in the middle of an absolutle downpour and I was dry as a bone. Even though the jackets are very expensive, they come with a lifetime warrently and the HyVent fabric allows for zero rain absorptions, while at the same time allowing for some air circulation. The coats also come is a vast array of colors and sizes so finding the perfect fit was not a difficult task. Eventhough the jacket was a little over my budget I am still happy becasue I have a rain jacket that will last me for many years to come.
