Last time I purchased a flat iron was around 6 years ago and that was a Kenwood. When my flat iron finally gave up on us, I searched for several weeks for the same brand but it was not in the market anymore. I decided to purchase a Moulinex because of the features and the price.

Pros:

It is a flat iron with steam and spray.

It is not as heavy as other steam flat irons I have tried.

It is cheap.

It has a teflon-coating on the base which is NOT black so it doesn't get passed on white clothings.

Comes in pink, apple green and blue colors.

Multi-voltage/.

Auto-shut off when hot

Cons:

Limited heat seatings (only 3 settings, low, medium and high). I was looking for something with specific heat settings for various kinds of textiles.

Not as effective as the old Kenwood flat iron I had for 6 years. That Kenwood was not even a steam flat iron and this was. But that Kenwood flat iron did wonders to my clothes. It made my pressing so easy because I do not have to re-do some parts of the clothes. This new one has steam but my clothes still have to be re-pressed or blown more steam to make it straight.
