I just bought a new USB flash drive. This is my first and only flash drive because I usually use my husband's flash drive. It's not a popular brand, Vandisk, and the capacity is 4 GB. What's great from this drive is that it comes with lifetime warranty, so they would replace it with a new one at any time. But this still works well for me so far. The look, however, is a bit dull and boring; it's black-colored and made of not-so-good plastic material. It's written "Vandisk" on the front and "Made in China" at the back. The cap sometimes gets very hard to pull off, but the price is very cheap, only $9 for 4GB. Can you imagine that? Well, it's made in China, so no wonder it's cheap.
About the performance, it's really slow in reading and writing, especially with big files like movies and music videos. When I tried to load a movie from this device, it felt like ages to load/read the file; the same thing also happened when I copied one movie file into it. Again, it's China made so I don't expect much of it. Anyway, 4GB is enough for me to save files like movies (usually only one movie file), music (Mp3 files), music videos or office files. Now I'm using it as my primary storage device, although it is not that good in performance. Yeah well, I'm not the type of person who is likely to use a flash drive all the time anyway.
PS: It doesn't come with the strap.
