In need of something to carry files from home to work, I bought this 2GB USB drive. There are lots and lots of flash drives on the market, but what seperates this one from others is the fact that it has a display on one side which shows what percentage of the drive is used up. It also features an LED light which lights up when it is plugged in and functioning properly. This makes it easier to know if there's something wrong with it, although I have yet to have mine fail. And while these features are not necessary, they are nice bonuses and more than just cheap gimmicks to try and get potential customers to buy them, because they are actually quite useful, and I do't see why other drives shouldn't be able to have similar things as well.

As far as capacity goes, 2GB is pretty good for a flash drive, but not the best. It's good for a moderately priced one though. And because it's a flash drive and has no moving parts like typical IDE/SATA drives, it can transfer/write data quite fast. However, due to the fact that it is a flash drive, that means it can only be re-written a certain amount of times. But that's not something you'll have to worry about unless you plan on saving/erasing files thousands and thousands of time.

The only bad thing about this flash drive is that its case is made of some pretty cheap plastic, whereas many other ones similar to this are made of tougher plastic or even metal in some cases. But despite this, it is still pretty durable, as long as you don't really try to break it.

In conclusion, this is a great product and has many reasons which makes this a worthwhile purchase. So if you're in the market for purchasing a new thumb drive, this is the one for you!
