While shopping a few weeks ago I came across a new product by Orville Redenbacher. We like the Orville Redenbacher popcorns and I thought it would be a safe bet to purchase the new product - first because it sounded yummy and second because we trusted the name.

Well, the Orville Redenbacher Toffee cluster popcorn with nuts is not one of this company's best products. The flavor of toffee is minimal at best and the amount of nuts is sparse. The popcorn really doesn't have a lot of appeal and I found that after eating just a handful I was sufficiently disappointed and decided to see if the kids would like to enjoy some of it. Perhaps my taste buds had just gone on vacation.

My youngest will eat just about anything you offer her - she is an adventurous sort and some of the concoctions she puts together are amazing. However, she quickly returned the bag to me and told me that if I ever bought this product again, not to bring it home. In her words it was "nasty".

It isn't a product that I would rush out again and purchase and even though there is another flavor, caramel, I don't think I'll be attempting to try it any time soon. I was disappointed in this product and expected it to provide more sweetness and good taste. Unfortunately it's overpriced for what you get in both size and taste I am afraid. Unless you don't like a strong toffee flavor, I'd say skip this little treat for now because Cracker Jacks taste better - and I don't like them much either.
