For my birthday, five or so years ago, I received this hat and a headband. They both came from the store, Jasmine Sola. The hat was $24.99. I remember liking it for months before it was mine.
The materials in the hat are 10% wool, 30% viscose and 60% polyester. Due to these choices in textiles, the outside fabric feels rough, like tweed or boiled wool mittens. The colors of the external plaid fabric are white, tan, black and grey.
The inner striped liner is smooth and soft. The stripes come together in a chevron pattern. The material inside has the following colors in it: black, tan and white.
There is a decorative plastic ring on the belted part of the cloche. It reminds me of a light shade of tortoise shell. Inside, there is a piece of thick, black elastic. It helps with comfort and fit; it also helps it stay in place. This hat fits me really well.
I don't wear it a lot, but I'm glad I have it. It's good for rainy days, bad hair days and when it's cold out.
