Hooray! I have reached a happy stage of life: between the need for acne products and the need for anti-aging products! =)
Recently I realized that now that I'm in my mid-twenties and my skin has become less oily, I am due for a change in my facial cleansing routine. I didn't want to continue using products with salicylic acid when they were no longer necessary. Instead, I wanted to find products that were gentle, removed make-up, and left my skin feeling clean and conditioned. Olay Daily Facials do all of the above.
Olay Daily Facials come in a box of 30 single-use cleansing cloths. To use, you simply moisten the cloth, rub it against itself to form a rich lather, and then use it to gently scrub your face. Each cloth has two sides: a soft, smooth side that provides gentle cleansing, and a textured side with "beads" on it that exfoliates.
My skin feels so good after using these! They clean without drying out my skin or irritating it with harsh soaps.
I would love to give these 5 out of 5, but for me there are two fairly big drawbacks.
First, they are fairly pricey. For about the same price, you can buy other facial cleansers that you will get far more than 30 uses out of. I have been using these only at night to remove make-up and refresh my skin while using a different, more budget-friendly cleanser each morning.
Secondly, there is a lot of waste. Each cloth can only be used once before throwing it away. This doesn't sit very well with my "green conscience".
Overall, I really like this product. It delivers what it promises, and always feels like a teat for my skin. However, because of the cost and the waste, it won't become my primary cleanser.
