I got the Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Anti-Ageing Eye Cream when I bought the facial moisturizer. I am not in my mid 30s and I realized that my skin needs some nourishment. Somebody told me to use Olay because it is mild and not too thick, perfect for Asians and our weather.
The eye cream is supposed to have a 7-in-1 effect. And these are:
1. Reduces the appearance of fine wrinkles
2. Reduces the appearance of dark circles
3. Improves dullness
4. Reduces Puffiness
5. Provides moisture for firmer appearance and suppleness
6. Renews skin texture
7. Reduces appearance of blotchiness
It costs $14 for a small tub of 15 ml-- it is more expensive than the facial moisturizer. But I swallowed it, thinking that it will work wonders on my eye area. My area is a different color than the rest of my face. I guess it is because most products say that they should not be used on the eye area. So my eye area is darker than the rest of the face. It looks haggard and wrinkly.
But honesly, after using the Olay Total Effects Eye Cream, I have not noticed any difference. Whereas my face has really improved with the moisturizer, I could not say the same for my eye area.
So after I have used up the tub, I just used the moisturizer along the eye area, for I just think it is the same. I could visibly see that my eye area has improved. And proof to that are my photos. Photos don't lie and they can be cruel. My face looks good but my eye area needs a lot of concealer.
For me, this product does not work, it is just way too expensive.
