After the sucess of "Let me Love You" Bow Wow and Omarion made a decision to come out with an album together. At first I thought they were nuts, now I think it wasn't that bad of an idea. The first track on this CD was "Face Off", if you ask me it served as an intro more than anything else. The next three tracks "Hood Star", "Girlfriend", and "Hey Baby (Jump Off)" were all amazing. I could listen to them continuously because of the beats and catchy choruses. Things slowed down significantly after that with mediocare tracks such as "He Ain't Gotta Know", "Bachelor Pad", and "Listen". I noticed that they were trying to blend Omarion's singing with Bow Wow's rapping, but it was such a delicate balance that if they weren't careful it flopped. "Can't Get Tired of Me" picked things up again, but only for that single track. "Number Ones" was a horribly produced song trying to bring us to Spanish Harlem, but sounded more like a crazy rap with some words in Spanish thrown into the middle of the chorus. The next track "Take Off Your Clothes" could count as their all grown up song, but it too was another disapointment. Face Off ended on a better note with "Another Girl" which had a steady beat and better lyrics, as well as vocals. Overall, Face Off started off pretty strong and got weaker as it went on. They tried, but it could have been a lot better. I hope that their next joint effort works out a lot better.
