It looked so cool on the television commercial. The One Sweep Broom, it declared, was "better" than the conventional bristle-type brooms we use, because it was made from some "space age" material that is "indestructible." It was lightweight, but capable of handling the toughest of cleaning jobs, tackling wood floors, tile, carpets and the like. After hearing about this "super" broom, I regarded my standard one with disdain and declared that, "Of course!", I must have this spectacular One Sweep Broom. I got the mailing address where I could mail in my check for this item (a steal at $9.95!) and I waited in anxious anticipation for its arrival, so I could toss my "inferior" broom in the trash. About a month later, my One Sweet Broom arrived and I was a bit disappointed to see just how lightweight it was. I did use it and it did a fair job, but it was not the awe-inspiring tool I was led to believe. Besides that, it was very awkward to use, in my opinion, and, if I applied too much pressure to it, it felt like it might fall apart. In my opinion, I would have been better served by spending my money on a brand new conventional broom that was a lot sturdier and capable of doing its job.
