We got this headset for me to use with my computer. I use it primarily for Skype calls and a bit for gaming or watching a movie when I don't want to disturb my husband by turning on the speakers.
They are decent quality, especially for the price. The sound is clear, and the microphone picks up well. I like how the microphone can be twisted down into talking position right in front of my mouth, instead of being located on a cord or a seperate piece like some are. I also like that it can be twisted up again and out of the way when it is not in use.
However, a huge problem with this headset is that it is very, no, acutely uncomfortable! For quick phone calls and the like, it is fine, but after being on my head for more than thirty minutes, my ears begin to ache! The phones put too much pressure on my ears, causing them to be very sore along the tops and sides. Wait too long, and they start to throb. My husband can't use them at all, because they bother him way too much. I can handle them for short periods of time, but I always look forward to taking them off again.
Good quality sound-wise, but not at the price of sore ears followed by a bad headache. If you are a gamer, or need to wear a headset for long periods of time for any other reason, stear clear of this one. Put out some money on a set that is high quality AND comfortable.
