When my mother told me I should get an electric tooth brush I scoffed at the notion that an electric toothbrush would actually work better than a regular toothbrush. Instead of buying one my mother purchased one as a birthday gift for me, so I had no other choice but to try it out.
I was happy to realize that she was right, using an electric toothbrush was really effective in removing plaque from my teeth. The vitality had a small battery stand in which the toothbrush easily lays, but the battery life is long enough that if you are travelling for two weeks you only need to bring the toothbrush. Another great feature of the toothbrush is its automatic timer, after 2 minutes the toothbrush vibrates in a way to let you know that you are finish. This feature prevents from overbrushing and any damage that might be done to your gums.
The overall whiteness hasn't really changed on my teeth, but I can feel a difference in the actual amount of plaque being removed. The gumline seems to be much cleaner using the vitality as opposed to an ordinary toothbrush. I think this is becasue the brushhead is a circular in shape, which allows the tooth brush to cover the whole surface area of your teeth much more easily.
Even though I would never let me mother know she was right, an electric toothbrush is far superior than the ordinary manual toothbrush.
