I tried the Human Nature Strengthening Shampoo, which can also double as a Body Wash, upon the recommendation of a family member. This product is organic and since I like anything organic as opposed to brands that are made predominantly of chemical substances, I tried it.
It costs about the same as conventional shampoos if you buy the 200ml bottle, but you get to save so much if you buy the 500ml bottle. Anyway, here is my experience.
We got the aloe vera, pearl powder and peppermint variant. There are other variants available but I preferred this one because of its aloe vera content. On the label it says, 100% Natural, 100% biodegradable, 100% no harmful chemicals like SLS/SLES, parabens, phthalates, or other toxic substances. This product has not been tested on animals either. Very interesting. It also says that a little amount goes a long way.
When I first tried it, along with the other members of our family, we needed a lot of shampoo just to make a decent lather on our hair. Then when the hair was rinsed, we got a tangled mess that it was pretty difficult to comb and manage afterwards. But since it was organic, we stuck to it. After all, we bought a big bottle and do not want to waste money.
After several days of using the shampoo, we needed less and less shampoo. Until one day, about 10 days later, I squirted about at tablespoonful on my palm and found out that it was already too much for my medium length hair. And when I rinsed my hair under the shower, the suds just felt like slipping on my hair and it left my hair so soft and slippery, like I had just applied conditioner and rinsed. When my hair was dried, it was very smooth and soft and manageable. And shinie, too.
We continue to use the Human Nature Organic Shampoo now and all of us have amazing results. I think that at the first time, the shampoo was just trying to clean our hair from all the residue that chemical shampoos have left behind. I would definitely recommend this shampoo to anyone.
