I tried the first product ever in the Organix lineand was totally surprisedby the quality and density of the conditioning. The scent alone is worth the price as a lotion or fragrant body oil, but this conditioner kept its weight in the hair but didn't grease up hair. This shea butter conditioner has a lot going for it. The gold bottle is different than the image, I think I got one of the last gold plastic bottles. But if you can get it, you'll use it up. I wish I had thought to dilute it with other conditioner because the fragrance is so dense. Many shea butter products end up being lightly fragranced with perfume and just using cheap waxy products. But the Organix line really impressed me and made my hair thirsty for more. I would put Organix shea butter conditioner next to premium designer products like Rene Furterer or Nexxus.
The label talks about avocado oils and yogurt proteins, but it's really a spa treatment for hair. If you can get your hands on a bottle of this, I would suggest for long hair to dilute the bottle with a less expensive conditioner to lengthen the uses. The she butter effect is very smoothing and my hair had a gloss even after intensive blow drying. If you have a lot of hair washing or hair stress, this is the perfect in sauna hair conditioner. This stuff really is amazing.
