My son has a left lazy eye. He has been seeing an eye doctor for quite sometime now. They have tried several treatments for his eye such as glasses, eye drops (atropine), taking one lens out of the glasses and patching . The patching started most frequently. We needed to purchase patches for his eye so we called a number listed on one of the few patches sent home with him. The patches are made by Pietrasanta Pharma located in Italy with a website of www.pietrasantapharma.it The patches are imported and distributed by Eye Care and Cure Corp of Tucson, Arizona-Phone 1-866-678-6723. Each box contains fifty patches. I bought two boxes/total 100 patches/40.00. These patches are made for boys and girls. Make sure you specify whether for boy or girl when ordering. The reason being, and this is my favorite, the patches have designs for boys and girls. I ordered for a boy, my son. They come in five different motifs: green camo--red with sports balls--blue with rockets/stars--orange with trucks--and yellow with pirates. The patches are latex free and adhere to the skin around the eyes and gently remove without pain. The patch is 2 and 7/8" x 2 and 1/8" oval. My son looks so cute with his patch in place and glasses on. He does very well for a 2.5 year old with two hours of patching a day. I highly recommend this brand for patching of the eye.
