Household Palliser Unit Furniture Three

During our marriage my husband and I have owned three wall units - all made by Palliser. The last unit we had was damaged when a basement flooded. At the time the owner of the home took it upon himself to claim the damage with his insurance company. This allowed us the opportunity to obtain a new wall unit with the amount the estimator had determined our damaged wall unit would cost to replace it.

For the $2500 replacement cost that was allotted by the Insurance, we were able to purchase a three unit wall unit which we have had now for 7 years and it is still in excellent condition. The three units are designed to remain together as one large wall unit or they can be divided and placed in different areas of a room or in separate rooms.

As our TV doesn't fit the opening that is designated for a tv, we currently use the middle unit to house our home server and printer as well as some other things such as games, etc., in the set of drawers at the bottom. The unit that has shelves which are open and two doors below where storage is available on two levels divided by another shelf, we use as a place to display some of our vases, images, candles, etc. The third unit has two doors that have glass fronts with shelving which is perfect to display our china and crystal. It also has storage below hidden by two doors.

This wall unit looks very nice with all three pieces together but each piece is equally able to stand on its own merit and look just as striking on its own.

I have always liked Palliser products and this particular unit is made of oak and is beautifully designed. The doors that cover the TV opening slide inward to hide snuggly against the sides of the wall unit until they are needed at which time they easily slide forward and close firmly to hide the TV or in our case the server and printer.

This wall unit will likely be in our family for a number of years to come because in my opinion Palliser units seem to remain timeless.
