you must be surprise to see that access to this garden is $0.85. Well before it was free but now to continue maintaining the beauty of this place access to the garden is no more free.

When you entre through the front gate it is as if you are entering in a castle with a big garden, . Well actually there is also a castle inside the garden but now it is museum.

The garden in full of plants and trees only found in mauritius. There is a tree that flowers once every 100 years. It is the talipot. There are man made pools but it is only use for fish and water lillies. WHen the water lillies flowers it is just a beauty. You will only want to see in front of the pool and relax. There is park where you will find some tortoises and deers.

The tree are marked with their name and on pamphlets you can learn about the history of the garden. I did not read or listen to any guide when visiting the garden because i was amaze by the beauty of the nature. I completely got lost in the beauty of the garden.

It is a really lovely place to visit, . you can have a guide that will relate the history of the garden to you. The first prime minister of mauritius monument is also found there.

The garden lacks a restaurant and a place to accomodate people. but they say let the nature be to nature, do not let man live in there to destroy.
