I was shopping at my local Ollie's bargain outlet when I ran across a display of journals made by leap year publishing/ paper works for an unbeatable price of less than two dollars. I purchased a few to give to my twelve year old neice who keeps a diary. I decided on the red spade design, and a green club design.

These journals are hardback and include an attached elastic strap to keep the journal closed The designs are unique featuring a variety of symbols inside the club and spade design such as hearts, horseshoes, eyes, flowers, music notes, dolphins, surf boards, mushrooms, aliens and many more other symbols.

The journals contain two hundred lined pages, and will make an adorable diary for a young girl. They would also be nice for anyone who is in need of a sturdy yet compact notebook. I think my neice will like this simple and inexpensive gift.

Paper works/ leap year publishing hardback journals are a decent quailty and the price was fantastic!
