Paranoia - written by Joseph Finder.

In Joseph Finder’s fifth thriller, Paranoia, a young man, Adam, decides to throw a retiring coworker a lavish retirement party. Unfortunately, Adam embezzles the money from the corporation, Wyatt Telecom, where he works, in order to pay for the party. When the owner of the Wyatt Telecom finds out about Adam’s deception he gives Adam two choices, go to jail or go to work for their rival corporation, Trion, as a spy. Adam job at Trion will be to find out what new products Trion has and report back to his former boss. This seems like a difficult decision for Adam, but facing jail and the rising cost of his father's health care causes him to choose the new job. His company trains him on how to get hired at Trion and how to do the job there.

Adam finds himself doing really well in his new job at Trion. He enjoys the huge salary, car, and apartment but how long can he continued to live a double life? How can he betray his new coworkers who he has befriended not to mention the woman he has recently met there and is now dating? How will he decide what the right thing is to do? He also must find the one person who he can trust with his secrets.

I really enjoy Joseph Finder novels. This is his third thriller novel I have read. In Paranoia, Finder does not disappoint his reader. In fact, this is one of the best books I have read in several months. If you like thrillers, I think you will find Paranoia a page turner from start to finish.

Warning: This is not a book for young readers. There are curse words throughout the book.
