I have an eighteen month old daughter and we are working very hard to teach her to use the big girl potty. One of the hardest things we have run into is teaching her what comes out of her body.
Admit it talking about pee and poop isn't the easiest thing to do. It's just way to funny of a concept. Here is where these fabulous stuffed dolls come in handy. They take the abstract concept of pee and poop and put them in a touchable, understandable, tangible doll.
The dolls come packaged in a set and were originally a project by Emma Megitt for her Masters of Design Thesis from Göteborg University. Both dolls are approximately six inches tall and made out of a cotton plush and stuffed with polyester fiber. They not only appeal to parents as teaching toys, but they make great conversation pieces and gifts for those friends of yours who just have not grown up yet.
Update On Apr 24, 2008: After writing this review I decided to send these dolls to my friend for his 33rd birthday. he just got them in the mail yesterday and LOVED them. great gift for that boy who never quite grows up. If we didn't already have these my hubby would be getting a set for his birthday!
