I tried the L'Oreal Perfect 10 hair color system a few months ago. I liked the fact that you could simply 'comb' it on or apply it the conventional way, which is to squeeze it on through a small pointed application cap.
I had hoped that L'Oreal would fall away from those squeeze tubes however. In order to put the color into the activator lotion, you have to open the small tube and squeeze the contents into the opening of the applicator bottle that is supplied. I may be alone on this one, but I hate these types of hair products. Placing the hair color liquid into a bottle that I just pour would be oh so much simpler. People who suffer from arthritis in their hands would have a difficult time of getting this color solution into the applicator bottle's opening without problems.
Perfect 10 is a hair coloring system that colors the hair, even gray, in only 10 minutes and it does it in the time claimed. Within 8 minutes my hair had already processed and was ready to be rinsed.
The product left my hair shiny and silky but the color didn't seem to last nearly as long as it does usually. Within a few weeks the shine wasn't there any longer and the color looked drab and faded.
At $15.99 I don't think I'll be purchasing this again for awhile, but I did like the way I was able to simply comb the product on my hair. It was quick to apply and there was no mess. Unless the product is changed however so that squeezing a tube isn't necessary to activate the color for application, and the color lasts longer, I'll probably pass on this product next time.
