My hubby really likes gold fish. He keeps many gold fish in our house; put some of them in the aquarium and some other in a pond. He feed them with this, Osaka specialists’ fish food. The packaging is nice with orange dominant color and a gold fish picture at the front. It has the aluminum foil to preserve the food. It contains spirulina that gives more nutrition to the fish. The food is floating-type, and it says it will not cloud water. The weight is 100 gr and it’s enough for one month. The instruction at the back says that feeding time is 2 times a day. To feed them is easy. Just sprinkle on the surface of the water with enough amount for the fish to consume within 15 minutes, and we should not overfeed them. If the temperature drops, the feeding is reduced to the half, or if necessary, don’t feed them. I think maybe fish is likely to get stressed when the conditions change dramatically, and if we keep feed them they won’t eat. The vitamins and minerals are also contained in this food. Vitamins include A, D3, E, B1, B2, B6, and B12. Minerals include Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron, Copper, Cobalt, and Sodium. The ingredients are: Fish meal, Shrimp meal, Wheat, Soybean meal, Corn Gluten meal, Vitamins and Minerals, Supplement, and Pigment enhancer. There is also a table of nutritional composition depicting the percentage of nutrition (protein, fat, fiber, ash, and moisture level) contained in this food. My hubby’s gold fish really like the food. And they grow rapidly when feeding them with this food. It’s just perfect for gold fish.
