I had been eyeing digital frames for about a year now and was ready to take the plunge! I wanted a digital frame that had a crisp, sharp picture. Resolution was the most important feature to me when I was shopping for an LCD frame. I also wanted one that I could move around my home with a rechargeable battery option. The 6 1/2 inch frame was what I wanted too.

I researched many sites online and the Philips official website. I compared brands and models and kept going back to the Philips frame. The resolution is 720x480, which is great! This model can only store about 50 or so photos in the internal memory, but accepts many memory cards. I do wish the internal memory was larger though.

This Philips frame does not offer speakers, so no mp3 music can be played through it, but that is not what I was looking for. I wanted a clean looking frame with sharp pictures and an easy user interface. The Philips gives me all this and more. I have a slide show set up on mine now, and have received many comments from guests. I have 4 frames that I can simply change whenever the mood strikes. It has been nice to pop in a memory card and watch a trip or a day unfold before our eyes. It has been a nice creative outlet for my photos.
