Hubby occasionally travels to some provinces in the Philippines for several reasons because they do maintain 7 or 8 radio stations in the provinces. Being the head of their department, usually he is the one being sent to troubleshoot any technical problem, setting up new stations or merely a visit. There were times that he was fortunate to go around the place but sometimes merely work only. When he went to Legaspi early this year, he bought these three (3) pieces of dried seashells where my name and the names of our 2 kids are engraved on it. Not only that. If you will take a closer look of these pieces, you will see a boat, a tree and a fence also carefully engraved on the shells. Isn't great to have this at home where I can take pride of my "kababayan's" work? I bet these pieces are not easy to do to show the details. Hubby told me that they also have big ones.
There are truly many amazing Philippine products we can be proud of because it is not only great on the look but you can appreciate the effort, the creativity and the time they put making those pieces.
