The last time I was in Baguio, my husband and I stayed in Pines View Hotel located along Legarda St., less than 5 minutes from Burnham Park. It faces one of Baguio City's main roads, hence, looking and waiting for a cab is very easy.
We got ourselves a single deluxe accommodation for P2, 900 (approx. $60) a night, which already includes a free breakfast -- with a choice of Filipino or American combo -- for two.The room has some basic amenities: a matrimonial-size bed, a minibar filled with bottled water and some soda drinks, a clean shower/bathroom with hot and cold water, a built-in hair dryer, a cable TV, a telephone service, a framed-antique collection, and a Wi-Fi Internet access. Since, it's already cold in Baguio, an airconditioner is only an option to their hotels.
Aside from their clean rooms and bathroom, which I think should be a very important consideration to every travelers, I also find their food menu affordable and delicious. On the first night, we ordered their mixed vegetables, potato salad, and fish fillet with tausi sauce. They have very generous servings, not to mention, an affordable prices -- ranging from as low as P100 (approx. $3).
I am sharing some of the pictures which I took myself during our stay in the hotel. I recommend the place to people who would want to spend a night or two vacationing in the summer capital of the Philippines.
