I bought this for my grandson for Christmas. He is under the age of 2, and this toy's suggested age range is 3 and up. I was a bit skeptical that he would be able to use it but he proved me wrong. Never underestimate a little boy!
He was very excited to play with it. We opened it up and showed him how to pull the lever to make the engine roar. He found it hard to pull they way that we showed him. But like I said, never underestimate little boys. He turned the toy sideways and was able to pull the lever. He squealed with joy every time he was able to make the turbo engine spin and light up.
This turbo shuttle is really many toys in one. The two removable space pods come off easily. They have two action figures that sit in each one. He loved to take them off and fly them around on the carpet. It has another button on the top of the shuttle that also makes sounds.
I think this one is a winner. Even though he is younger than the suggested age, he still found a way to enjoy it on his own terms! As he gets older he will be able to hold it in his hand and pull the lever underneath to make the sounds. For now...it sits on the floor and he does it his way!
Recommended for the little space adventurer!
