The Playskool Busy basics Swing N Score Baseball has a generally good idea backingit, but the reality is a little lessimpressive. The box says ages 9 months and up. I got it for my one year old, and she is not near ready to play with this game. I had my doubts when I purchased t, but being baseball fans, we held out hope. It's true, however, that she just doesn't get it. After a couple of weeks, she is now hitting the swinging arm with the bat, but the arm doesn't actually go anywhere. It's a fun toy, but really inappropriate for anyone under the age of two. Then, of course, once they get to be two, they will be too tall to stand and play with it. Aside from its size/age issues, the toy does what it claims to do, which is go in a circle if you hit the moving arm - with or without the bat. The announcer says two or three annoying things over and over, and the comments have nothing to do with the actual speed or force the ball is hit with. Oh, but, the bat can also be used as a bonus little brother or sister beater-upper.
