I have a 4 year old daschund. It is very hard to find toys that my dog will not instantly tear up. It does not matter if the toy is cheap or high dollar, my pet can tear into a toy quick. I once bought a rubber toy that was said to be virtually indestructable. It cost $15.00 but I thought it would be worth it if it last. I took it home and gave it to my dog. He was thrilled with his new toy, however in about 5 minutes, he had little rubber pieces laying around in the floor. A few of which were still in his mouth. I had to throw it away. It was just more money wasted.
I went to Pet Smart and purchased a Plush Chuck-It Ball. My dog loves to play fetch and one of the things that attracted me to this product was that it was a soft ball. It can be safely tossed or kicked around in the house and is less likely to knock over or break anything in your home. My small pet can also easily grab the ball despite it being about the size of a gapefruit. He can just bite into it and carry it around. It is made of a durable material that can be washed. This ball quickly became my dog's favorite toy. It is mine also because about a year after purchasing the ball it still looks almost good as new.
