I decided to break down and purchase a battery charger for my rechargeable Kodak batteries for my digital camera (see my other review on Kodak Digital Batteries). The reason I bought this is because it was the cheapest. It came with 2 polaroid AA Batteries and the charger. I have been using this for over a week now. The charger connects right to your laptop/computer to charge. So far it has worked. It does its job and charges my batteries. It is light weight which I like. It was inexpensive which is a plus. There are also a couple of things that could use improvement. First it has this cap that can cover the part that plugs into your computer- yeah I can not find that already. I think it would be cool if it just flipped back. Secondly is it can take quite a while to charge the batteries (anywhere from 11-30hrs is what the back of the package says) which means you have to keep your computer running the entire time and the light on it lights up red whether they are fully charged or charging- it never changes color. My third and last complaint is that sometimes it does become disconnected so you have to keep an eye on it. Sure this could use improvement, but it does what it is suppose to do - charge my batteries! I have only used the to charge AA batteries but it can chare AAA also. Eventually I do plan on spending a little more on a better charger.
**These are more of want suggestions rather than an improvement suggestions but it would be cool if this came in any other color rather than just silver, and on the package it says "recharges up to 1, 000 times", I think that could have been left off. The fact that the company wants you to be given a limit of the uses does make me wonder how long this will last.
