Pop Century Resort is our resort of choice when staying in the Walt Disney World Resort. We love the theme most of all. Each building is designed to represent a decade between the 1960's to the 1990's, complete with music from that era playing on a loud speaker. The resort is the newest of the value resorts and is one of the most affordable places to stay at in Disney World with prices ranging from $79-$99 a night. No matter which building you stay in, you are in close proximity to the resort restaurant, which is a giant food court with a variety of food choices including: pizza, pasta, burgers, chicken, wraps, dogs, Chinese, baked goods and ice cream. There is also a refrigerated and grocery section. Connected to the restaurant is the huge gift shop "Everything Pop" which has hundreds of souvenirs to take home. The gift shop also has a toiletries and pharmacy section in case you forgot to bring something from home. As for entertainment, the resort has 3 themed pools to choose from:the Bowling Pin Pool, the Computer Pool and the Hippy-Dippy Pool. And at each pool, you'll find the laundromat so you can wash while you swim. Each pool also has it's own bar for drinks by the pool. And while staying at Pop, you'll never have to worry about a car because the Disney Busses come and go all day taking hotel guests to and from the parks. Pop Century gives you the complete Disney feeling without the price.
