I got this 61/2' Pre-Lit Colorado Pine on a Black Friday sale for $29.00. Any tree at that price is a steal but this tree is particularly wonderful.
Assembly is a breeze. Simply slide the legs onto the bottom, place the middle layer on top of it and place the top layer on top of that. And it's done! You couldn't ask for an easier time. I will say that in order to get the tree to look as full and lush as it does on the box it takes considerable time and effort in shaping and separating the branches. If you take the time to really shape the tree though, it looks incredible.
The lights are done really well. They are set back further into the tree, allowing ease in placing ornaments. The wire from the lights blends seamlessly with the color of the tree so it almost looks like the lights are floating among the branches. To assemble the lights all you have to do is plug them in! One end of the bottom layer plug into the wall, the middle layer plugs into the other end and the top layer plugs into the middle layer. The plugs are zip tied to the upper branches of each layer so they are easy to find and stay in place.
Overall I am extremely happy with this tree. It looks like a real pine, it's easy to use, and there is no mess to clean up. And I defintely won't miss fighting to get tree lights in place. But I believe one of the best things about this tree is that it's so economical. I can use this tree again and again with no additional cost.
