I have used dozen's of different shampoos in my life. They all make promises such as adds body, volume, shine, curl and many other wonderful qualities. However, generally nine time out of ten they come at a high price and do not deliver on their promises. Generally I buy the cheaper brands like Suave or V05 as they do not advertise as much as the expensive brands or make fancy shaped bottles so they can sell their shampoo cheaper. These cheaper brands usually clean your hair as well as any high priced shampoo.
Recently while shopping for shampoo I saw an old brand of shampoo that I had not used in awhile. Like the cheaper brands Prell shampoo does not advertise heavily and does not make any promises. After many decades its still the same color and smells the same way as it always did.
I took Prell home and used it and it actually did seem to make my hair look better not like some of the other brands who make numerous claims that they can not deliver on. Prell costs a little more than the cheaper brands but not as much as some of the bigger name brands. I still like this shampoo and will be using it more often.
