For any woman who loves makeup, finding the perfect concealer can be a daunting task and feel like searching for a needle in a haystack! I have tried so many concealers in the last few years that I could open up my own concealer boutique. The latest concealer I have tried is from Prescriptives and I am giving it two thumbs up, two snaps, and a bag of chips (translation-I am thoroughly enjoying the results I am getting from it!).
The Site Unseen Brightening Concealer conceals and brightens the undereye area as well as conceals blemishes. When your undereye area is brightened, you look less tired and you also look younger. Who can be against looking younger?!
The packaging is extremely user friendly as it looks like a chubby "pen" that clicks. There are .13 ounces of concealer in the container. It is in liquid form and when the concealer is dispensed, it comes out on a brush that reminds me of a mini "paintbrush". The inner Michelangelo in me loves painting the concealer under my eyes because I know that I am protecting my eye area as it has an SPF of 15. I usually swipe the concealer under my eyes and use my ring finger to gently dab and pat the concealer under my eyes up to my lower eyelashes. Talk about concealing the look of fine lines and wrinkles-this truly does that! I am also impressed with the fact that the concealer does not migrate or move until you wash it off and I tend to have combination normal to oily skin.
Prescriptives conducted studies and found that 84% of women saw a visible improvement of the undereye area (this from after eight weeks of use) and I hope that I can be in that 84% in the next few weeks. For now, I feel good in knowing that I have SPF protecting the undereye area and I look refreshed and less tired.
