Beautiful hair is rarely something we wake up with. For most people, it takes a lot of time and effort, plus some good hair products to give us the look we want.
If I air dry my long, layered hair, it's curly and a bit frizzy. It needs something to help the curls look less frizzy and more defined, plus some added gloss to make it look healthier. I've tried a few products on my own with no luck. While shopping at Sally's Beauty Supply, the sales lady strongly recommended Proclaim Glossing Polish. She told me that they sell a large amount of it. Being the gullible person that I am on very rare occasions, I listened to her and bought the product. It was a decision I regretted and more money was thrown away in the name of beauty.
This product did nothing for my hair to make it look better. All it accomplished was to make it look and feel oily. The words, "enriched with Olive Oil" should have given me a clue, but I didn't pay attention to details like that. I had a great sales person giving it a glowing recommendation. What more could I ask for? Next time I'll read the package before I jump in. I can't imagine anyone loving this product unless they like the greasy hair look.
Having worked in retail sales, I could never lie or exaggerate to my customers just to make a sale. I'm not really accusing the salesperson I met with doing that, but I am a bit suspicious. Though I usually did it before, I neglected to do my own research before I spent the money and this has reminded me to go back to doing that.
