The projector I bought is a Mitsubishi home projector. I bought it an year and a half ago as I often need to give presentations at the office. And our home theatre too was ready by that time. So I thought of buying a projector and using it for both house and office as I just need it once in a fortnight at the office. But the problem was that I didn't know which brand to buy as I heard mixed responses for almost every brand. So I thought of buying a better one of them and went to the mall. After a lot of inquiry and lot of questions, I zeroed on two projectors and had to choose one from them. But when the person there told me that one of the projectors I chose, which is the one I bought, has won an award for best projector, I didn't need to think again and bought it.
It really is a great projector and I found it after just a few days. First thing I want to say about this device is it's size and shape which are very comfortable for me as I need to take it to office often. ( In our office, everyone has to get their own screens and projectors for their presentations and they don't provide them. Previously my colleague used to lend me one but as I said I bought it as our home theater got readied) It is very small in size and is really light in weight and is very portable to carry along with us.
It's shape is a really very well planned and well used design. It comes with a lens at the center of the front side and it has rings above it to adjust focus and zooming to adjust our needs. It doesn't provide much zoom and it is around 1.2 times and it is sufficient for home theater and office work for me. It has vents on the both sides of the lens. The range is around a hundred feet which is very high though we don't need that much. It gives a very clear picture and for the movies, the video quality is top class. It is very well suited for large screen image. The image is very bright with 720p and is infact brighter than the images produced by the previous models by all brands.
Remote is another good feature about this product. It is very small in size and fits easily in the hand. It has well designed buttons for easy access. The backside too has only countable plug-ins and it is very much less confusing even for starters. It just has a couple of plugs to attach. We can even connect it to computer and display the images or watch the videos which really is helping me a lot at office.
The price is very reasonable and it came in just 995$ which is far more less than other projectors. The price, model and remote along with the quality in images and the extraordinary brightness make it a wonderful piece. But the limited lens shift may be inconvenient for some people, though I am not finding any problem with it. It is very suitable for large screen home theater effect .It came with a one year warranty but I didn't have a single problem in the eighteen months.
