These are my favorite set of filters I have for my SLR cameras. Macro photography is the photography of objects up close. This can be done either with the limitation of the macro setting of your camera (if available), a macro lens, or macro filters as I have. This kit comes with three macro filters: 1x, 2x, & 4x. Promaster is a great company for filters and they didn't dissapoint with these. The three filters come in a nice box with dividers to keep them separated, not the typical plastic boxes that most filters come in.

As these are marcro filters and not a macro lens, they screw onto any lens you may already have. Screw them all on top of each other for the maximum macro zoom or mix and match to achive the macro zoom you desire. Of course, being filters as opposed to a lens means that it's a little more difficult to get the proper macro zoom than just twisting a lens, so these aren't the best thing if you need to be able to adjust and shoot quickly. Twisting on all those filters can also be somewhat of a hassle if you're in a hurry. However, depending on your lens and the macro setting of your camera, you can get some adjustment there by adjusting the lens. Adjusting the lens, however, will not always yield the best results compared to adding more filters, but for my purposes, it has worked well enough.
