While at work I was trying to find something that would keep my coffee cup warm that was inexpensive and really that wasn't a mug or something. We have to use our own cups in the machine and the heated travel mugs just would not cut it. Well I went to a local craft store (Michaels) and they had this candle warmer on sale for a really good price. The heating surface as a perfect diameter to keep my cup in contact with it and thus conveying the heat to my coffee. Now the recommened way to use this item is to but one of those candles in a jar on it and the heat would melt the candle slowly and release the smell instead of having it actually burn. In its proper use, this is a great way to prevent accident typing and subsequent fire from starting. Now for my use, I must say I am very happy with it. There is no temperature setting is just ON or OFF with a glowing LCD light to show it is on... Practically made for dummies. Its small about 5" in diamter and about 1" think in its thickest part. The heating surface is about 3-1/2" in diamter. A nice white look give is the country touch.
