I bought the 3000 about 3 months ago and i find that if you rabout 14 years of age or older you tend not to play as many games. Anyways the PSP 3000 is nearly the sanme as the old one but not as hackable. It has all the basics( Wifi, pic storage, video player, Internet store for Play Station and can play demos of games that probably will come out.
The graphics of the games for example : Brothers in Arms D-Day are average but the game itself is a slow load and the sensitivity is not as quick as expected. Sure the Games are great but they are expensive and sometimes not worth it. The PSP 300 in style as not as portable as the new PSP slide. The memory sticks are ranging from 2G to i think 32Gs.
Overall, the PSP 3000 is a nice hand held gaming console, a bit big for portability, has a great selection of games that it can play ranging from a variety of genres and can play MP4 videos, altering the screen to your preference. It is a good console ( but the games are pricey)
