We are preparing to take a VERY long car trip with our dogs next week. I try not to feed them a lot while traveling in the car, but I do like to indulge and reward them when they are "Good Boys" on our long trips. I saw these boxes of Pup-peroni 50 calorie snack pouches for dogs at ollie's bargain outlet. You get 8 small pouches per box, and I thought this would be an ideal treat for on the road. The packs are small, and what dog doesn't like Pup-peroni snack sticks?
I think this is kind of a rip off really. You get about two sticks cut into tiny peices per package. I guess if you are really watching what your dog eats, these would be a good alternative to traditional boxes and bags of treats. It would be more cost effective to just buy the standard bag and limit how many treats you offer your dog.
However, for the purpose I purchased these treats for, the smaller size is ideal. I will be able to reward my dogs for being good in the car, and the pouches are small and portable, so it is a win-win situation. Realistically I won't purchase Pup-peroni 50 calorie snack pouches for dogs again.
