At first I would buy any brand of cotton swab that I found on sale. It wasn't until recently that I decided to try Q-tips. Now I find myself wondering how I ever managed without them. They are so much better than the no name brands that I would never consider buying the other ones now. Q-tips have more than a few uses.

The flexible yet firm holding stick makes them very easy to use. Obviously the most common use for this product is to clean out your ears. Their tips are more than nicely covered with soft cotton, this makes them very comfortable to use. Q-tips can also be used to apply and blend eye shadows and lipsticks.

They can also be used to remove unsightly mascara smudges. Another handy use for this product is to touch up and remove your nail polish. Another use is to apply baby ointments, and wart treatments. My husband also uses them to clean out our PS2 when it occasionally gets dirty, they are just small enough and gentle enough to get into those really hard to reach areas.

Their diversity of uses makes them a great asset for any bathroom. For less than three dollars a box, this product is a good value for your money. Overall I rate it a five as far as cotton swabs go.
