I recently stayed at the Quality Inn and Suites in Burnham Pennsylvania for one night while traveling for some training for work. The class I was taking for work was in nearby Lewistown PA and there were only 2 hotel choices for the area. My company put me chose the Quality Inn and Suites.
When I arrived I knew this was not going to be a great place just from the looks of the place. It was just off the highway(Rt. 322), which was convenient and easy to find, but also made it noisy. There were only 2 floors, I had requested the 2nd floor, but got the 1st floor. The room was not very clean. Later when I was going to put some of my clothes away in the dresser I noticed spiders in the dresser drawer.
There is a restaurant at this hotel, although I did not try it out. There is an outdoor pool too. I did not try it out either since I was just there the one night, but there were a lot of families with kids enjoying it. The hotel was very packed. I'm not sure what the attraction was, because there really isn't much of anything in the immediate area to do. It is located in central PA, and is and hour or two away from some tourist attractions, so maybe it is just a cheap one-night stop for people traveling. I sure was glad when my training seminar got moved to State College and I had to switch hotels for the remainder of the two week class. One night was okay, but I would not have wanted to stay here any longer!
Also, I'm not sure why it is called the Quality Inn & SUITES. . . There are no suites. . . ? ? ?
