This radio control helicopter was a recent purchase for our daughter. It looks like a bee/helicopter, with glowing eyes, hence the name "Stinger". It really is a lot of fun. It has a four way remote control and it really buzzes around quickly. The remote doubles as the power charger and takes six AA batteries which are not included. The helicopter only runs for about ten to fifteen minutes before you need to recharge it. By then the kids have usually had enough of it anyway. Two of our kids had received similar helicopters for Christmas. However, Santa went with a really cheaply made one that promptly broke. The Stinger has held up pretty well so far. The only problem we've had was the propeller got some of my daughters hair in it. (Yes, her sister flew it into her head, but it didn't hurt). After I pulled the hair off, it went back to working just fine. The kids like to fly it down in the basement which is essentially a toy room. I don't let them fly it where it could run into anything valuable, as they are definately still learning to control it. It can be flown outdoors too if weather is mild enough.
