I just borrowed my brothers old Radio Flyer wagon that my parents game him for Christmas one year a very long long time ago. That item has to be at least 40 years old if not more so. To most folks they would classify this a toy but I think of it as that and more.
I recently had to remove my planting pots all over my yard to near the cellar hatchway and they were very heavy and full of dirt. I asked if I could borrow his Flyer wagon to help with my yard work and boy is it a huge help. Durable as ever after all these years it helped me through the job and saved me one heck of a lot of backache. We also used it to haul the water filter into the cellar after the pool season was done at my Mom's this year. If you want to talk heavy that water filter wrote the book on that word.
It has picked up a bit of rust and a small hole over all these years and I am going to repair it and add some paint to it. It's almost like helping an old friend. A very nostalgic piece from the past used in both play and work.
