Phone has worked well for over a year since purchase. Only real complaint is that the button markings have worn off. Cannot tell what numbers are visually. on the box it says the buttons are big and easy to see and dial. My comment would be that is not the case as those numbers wear off pretty quickly. Volume selector when put on high makes a hissing sound and does no one any favors. Works fine on low setting for most folks. Certainly cheap enough to pick one up if one wishes to not to pay a real lot for a phone. At the time I wanted a cheap fix for an office phone at home so I picked it up. I believe at the time it was about ten dollars on sale. It is for desk use or wall mountable. Also has a mute button for private in room conversations. Also switchable between pulse/touch tone dialing. Has flash button for phone services such as call waiting or 3 way calling. Also has last number redial and ringer on and off for nap or quiet time. Unfortunately, I became tired of the numbers that has worn off on this phone and decided to pay more and get a better quality one from at&t. I am much happier now as I found the worn off numbers very much the pain. I don't believe I will be buying another phone from radio shack even though I do like many of their products.
