Our entire family really enjoys this cookbook. This is a cookbook specifically for kids and it based on the disney movie Ratatouille. To me, that was a perfect movie to make a cookbook from since it is all about cooking. We all enjoyed the movie so when we saw the cookbook at disney it was a must purchase. It was $15, which is a decent price when compared with others.

The book is hardbound and has the cutest illustrations of Emile and Remy. It is full of actual pictures of what you will be making also, which I enjoy seeing what it will be before we go to make it. These are simple recipes for kids, some that adults wouldn't even need a recipe for, like chef salad, but for a child it is a great thing. My son is 5 and enjoys just looking through it like any other book. He always enjoys picking something to make.

Each recipe is laid out so it is easy for the kids with step by step directions, simple enough for a 5 year old to understand, and on some it gives extra details, like the omelet. It tells you how to actually cook the omelet. It has a few tips at the beginning of the book for the kids, safety and educational tips. I am sure it could have more, but overall we really enjoy this book.

I had a disney kids cookbook as a child and one of my favorite things was to sit and look at it and the same has held true for my son now. Definately recommend for families with little ones.
