The A3 is a really big change from the original A1 scooter most people are familiar with. For starters the wheels on the A3 scooter are significantly bigger at about 135 mm or 5 in, they make the ride noticeably smoother. It also comes in different colors, including green, black and blue. The wheelie bar on the back makes wheelies more comfortable and keeps your speed as opposed to putting your foot on the back wheel brake. This is definitely a good scooter to do tricks on if that's your kind of thing. Compared to the A1 the maximum handle bar height is almost equal, which may prove troublesome for riders over 5'10''. The construction is the same aluminum alloy that razor scooters use, don't expect it to break easy. The maximum weight according to the box is 145 pounds so this is more for children or teenagers; but don't think of this as a child's play toy only, its actually very useful to travel short distances with. I myself use this on my college campus and find it cutting my travel time so much. Along with that it can fold down like older razor scooters and is very light, around 6 or 7 pounds. The only issues I have with the scooter is that although it does have larger wheels, on very rocky roads it tends to bounce a lot. While that is to be expected, the handle bars are metal so when you grab on to them the vibrations hurt your wrist. But this usually isn't the case for most roads/sidewalks so you should be fine, good luck and happy riding!
