I love to craft so when I ran across this magazine I had to have it.
ReadyMade is a great mag with crafts for the serious crafter. The problem that I have is that although most things look really cool to do, I just don't have the time to do them all.
One of my favorite ReadyMade features is a contest they run every month. they take a product that you have lying around the house such as an old pill bottle, an old suitcase, or tennis balls, and they challenge the readers to come up with the most unique way to re-purpose the item. I never knew tennis balls could make such great pencil holders.
They also have larger crafts such as building a trundle bed for under nine hundred dollars. You actually have to purchase the instructions for this project separately, which is a bit of a tease.
My favorite part of the mag is when they show homes of crafty families. There are some cool designs out there.
This mag is not for moms looking for crafts for kids. It focuses on adult crafts. It's a good mag, but check it out at the library or bookstore first before getting a subscription.
