I have a dog that I walked at night around a large field so I need to know if there are any critters nearby. I am especially concerned about skunks. If you've ever smelled a dog that's been sprayed by skunk you understand my concern. So when walking my dog I needed something that shines bright enough for
me to see quite a distance away. I have a one million candle power rechargeable flashlight. However, when it seemed to be failing I decide to buy a new spotlight.
While looking on Amazon.com I saw a very reasonable priced three million candle power rechargeable halogen spotlight made by Illinois Industrial Tool. Spotlights are generally used when camping or fishing but they have many uses.
Some of the features included were that it came with an AC power charger adapter and a 12 volt car charger. I like this feature as you do not have to keep buying batteries. It also had a pivoting handle and stand which was nice but not necessary.
When I got the spotlight it would not work after charging it and the stand on the flashlight was broken. I called the company that was selling these and the salesman was very nice and offered o send another one. I got the second one and charged it. This time it worked. Unfortunately, the bad thing about this spotlight was that it was NOT a spotlight. In fact, it was no brighter than an ordinary flashlight andcost quite a bit more. Needless to say this will be returned.
So if you are in the market for spotlight away away from this one.
