I always like the idea of scented candles. I think they function not only as home decoration, but also a therapy for stress. This scented candle I want to review is Lavender Scented Candle made by L’occitane. The scented candle comes in a cute package: in a cute square glass in a box, colored mostly with purple (‘coz it’s lavender, I think). It weighs about 100gr. Now, why did I choose lavender scent over other available scents? It’s simple: because lavender is the scent that mosquitoes hate. Yeah, and I hate mosquitoes, there are just many of them around our neighborhood. This scented candle is very effective to make mosquitoes away, at least from our bedroom (because we only have one and we put it in our bedroom). Besides, lavender is one of my favorite scents. I usually lit it when going to bed, or one hour before I go to bed. This way it prevents mosquitoes from entering our bedroom. And whenever I feel stressful from my daily works I also lit this candle. It makes me relaxed with the aromatherapy. I think the 100gr it contains is not much, with that volume it runs out in about one month with daily use. It’s quite expensive for a scented candle: $23. Well, but I got what I paid: a relaxing mind and mosquitoes-free bedroom.
